🦁 Big news for the Redlegs family — we’re thrilled to announce Travis McMain as the Senior Women’s Coach for the 2026 season!

Trav’s journey with the Kedron Lions is a story of pride, loyalty, and lifelong connection. Starting as a junior, he went on to play 130 senior games, 70 of those as a Redlegger. He was crowned the League Best & Fairest in 2006 after leading his team to glory winning the premiership in 2006 and again in 2007. This year he earned his place as Vice-Captain in the 2025 Team of the Quarter Century.

After his playing days, Trav continued to give back, coaching in the youth ranks — alongside his son Harry — while remaining an active part of the club community. The McMain family name runs deep at Kedron; Trav is the son of club stalwart Terry ‘Tats’ McMain, and it’s a special moment to officially welcome Trav, Bel, Harry, and Millie back home (though they never really left!).

We can’t wait to see Trav lead our Senior Women’s team in 2026 — combining his passion for the game, his leadership, and his deep love for the club. Go the Redlegs! ❤️💙
